Richard Woodfield
Richard uses fineliner pens to produce his black and white artwork. The British landscape provides ready material for interpretation and on his travels, he looks out for interesting vistas and relevant structures to photograph before translating them, using different sized pens to introduce the necessary tones and textures.
Inspiration has come from a number of different sources with the work of Frank Patterson and Alfred Wainwright proving major influences.
He is a resident of North Norfolk and lives near the coast.
