BOUQUETS

Marie listens to the brides ideas and thoughts of their wedding flowers. This is a very special day in their life and the flowers play a big part on the wedding day. It's very important to make sure the bride and groom feel confident with the florist and be assured the wedding flowers shall be better than they could of hoped for.

Factors to consider, style, size, shape, colours, availability, weather and allergies.

Bridal bouquets need to suit the style of dress, reflect from the groom, best mans outfit, also I think it's nice to think about your wedding theme, style of venue, adding flowers that remind you of your childhood. There are many different styles of bridal bouquets which I enjoy making as they are all so unique and individual.

Brides typically choose the shape of the bouquet which evoke another time period while the language of flowers can contribute to a message to be conveyed about the couple. The shapes and colours are a personal preference.

BUTTONHOLES

Also known as Boutonnière.

These are such a wonderful display of flowers to attach to your wedding outfit, these are very individual. It's a good idea to ask what colours the recipients are wearing to ensure these finish off the outfit, flowers from the bridal selection are often linked throughout the buttonholes.

These are made of little delicate flowers worn in the lapel of a suit or attached to a dress or jacket for the ladies.

The party who often is seen wearing a buttonhole is the Groom, Best Man, Usher, Page Boy, fathers of the bride and groom, grandparents and the mothers of the bride and groom, also known as a corsage.

I do recommend a natural style buttonhole which is bound with twine on a corsage clip, these are easier to attach and the natural stems can be placed in little water to ensure freshness.

TABLE ARRANGEMENTS

Arrangements are a statement on the tables at your chosen venue. It's important to engage with the bride and groom and to understand their requirements to decorate the venue. The arrangements are more often made with the same flowers used from the bridal collection, factors considered are size on the table, shape of the table, colours and style of the venue, lighting and rules and regulations at the venue.

Decorating your wedding venue doesn't have to be expensive, you can opt for little vases of flowers and tea lights to keep the budget down.

Candle arrangements are a beautiful setting at a wedding venue, there are so many choices of flower arrangements for a wedding venue, urns can be a beautiful option, candelabra arrangements are also striking on the tables, as well as garlands and vase arrangements.

The secret is not to go too big, keep the arrangements in proportion of the table, add scented flowers and foliage, colours, textures, these will really show off your wedding venue and will look exquisite on your wedding photos.

DECORATIVE ARRANGEMENTS

Flowers for the church are very important. As you can imagine most churches are filled with lots of dark wood and dark lighting, flowers give a burst of vibrancy, scent and looks very decorative in the church.

Pew ends, altar arrangements, window arrangements, church arch, registrar table and chandelier garlands are all items to be considered.

Cake arrangements, car arrangements, flowers to decorate your home the night before the wedding, Thank You Bouquets are also other options to think about.
